Gilli Islands, Indonesia
After walking for like 40 minutes with our backpacks on and the midday heat in our face we got rewarded with this view in front of our hotel
This was when we spoiled ourselves with a nice apartment (The Exile Gilli Trawangan)
We also went diving one day and had so much luck, we did not see only one but two sea turtles
Lombok, Indonesia
In Kuta our neighbours took us (we were sitting with the whole family on the back of their truck) to a beach
Also random families wanted to take pictures with us (famous yo)
For a couple of days we just explored beaches on our scooter (we once drove around 35km with a flat tier) and had fresh pineapples, nasi goreng as well as corns on the cob
In a small village we were taught how to make a sari, the traditional blankets that are worn on celebrations
We also visited the Air Terjun Jeruk manis waterfall on a day trip
Bali, Indonesia
At this beach in Uluwatu the movie eat, pray, love was shot
I found so many nice corals but unfortunately you are not allowed to take them out of the country (i only took a really really small one in my backpack)
The Single Fin Bali had an amazing view over all the surfers and delicious Nalu bowls (like a smoothie bowl with fruits and other toppings)
The Kecak & Fire dance at a temple in Uluwatu is super touristy and crowded but still so much fun to watch (and a sick sunset is guaranteed)
From our flight back to Bangkok
Bangkok, Thailand
Could have spent 3 days at the chatuchak market (they sell literally everything and it's so cheap)
