Learning how to skate (or trying not to look like a fool)

Everyone skates in Barcelona, and when i say everyone i mean everyone. Even a lot of girls can be seen, standing super cool on their skateboards while eating an ice-cream. Besides the look, it's also super useful, because it's way quicker than walking and you can take your skateboard everywhere. Luckily i had a couple of beers before i started my first skateboard lesson, which i believe made it more easy for me. It was actually a lot of fun and i wouldn't stop practicing until my friend asked for her board :D 

Some friends promised to teach me, so i will keep on trying..

Summer is about to hit the city

People are wearing shorts, dresses and sunglasses. Almost in every corner you find some musicians, tourists start to annoy everyone and the sun rises early. Yes, i am talking about summer. The past days it felt like you can literally watch how the summer slowly hits the city. I love this time of the year, because it is not too hot and you can see the rising excitement and happiness in the peoples faces. While walking through the city i always find something new that amazes me. My favourite was the moment, when i saw the small girl starring at a random guy playing the violin in the streets. She was so fascinated and did not look away once, while i was passing by.

First of all: Happy 420 to everyone out there!I hope everyone enjoys  my favourite Holliday ;)

The past days were awesome. Barcelona is the only city i know so far, where you can have so much fun, even when you are completely broke. Tanning at Barceloneta, drinking beer on the streets or watching skaters and other interesting people at MACBA.

Back in Barcelona

Yesterday was my last day in Amsterdam. We had a great time and i already miss my friends. But I will come back soon, for sure. 

Today we chilled at Barceloneta before university, so that wasn't too bad either :D

Tomorrow morning we will go running to Barceloneta and then do some exercises in the outdoor gym there! I am quite excited if it works out how we are planning it...

Since 2 days i am in Amsterdam, visiting my friends from hotelschool. It feels so good to be back 'home'. I am not sure if its the city or the memories that come up when i walk through the streets, but it makes me happy.

DIY Jewellery

Me and my friend Eva recently started to do our own jewellery. Soon we want to sell it on flea markets or maybe on the beach. It is super easy to make, we just collected nice stones at Barceloneta and  bought some wires. They are also perfect as an unique, personal presents for friends or family. 

1€ Fleamarket @ Ovella Negra Barcelona

On Sunday we went to a flea market where EVERYTHING was 1€! Usually there is some stuff that is so cheap but not everything. So to sum it up: heaven on earth. I bought some nice vintage clothes and pictures for my room.
